Michelle Monk

Michelle Monk, with 15 years of experience as a dedicated physiotherapist, brings a fervent commitment to her profession, Michelle is passionate about guiding her patients towards optimal health and wellness. She believes in the importance of education, advocacy, and unwavering support as integral components of the healing process.

Drawing upon a diverse skill set, Michelle employs a variety of techniques to address her patients’ needs. Her expertise includes manual therapy, electroacupuncture, and K-Taping, among others. Notably, Michelle has specialized in the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release technique, a method renowned for its efficacy in treating a wide spectrum of issues, ranging from sports injuries to chronic pain.

As a pelvic floor physiotherapist, Michelle offers specialized care for pelvic floor concerns, including incontinence, pelvic pain, and pregnancy-related issues. Her comprehensive approach encompasses a deep understanding of the intricacies of the pelvic floor and its impact on overall well-being.

Michelle’s academic journey reflects her dedication to excellence in her field. She holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University, Canada, building upon a solid foundation laid during her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Health at York University, Canada.
